GERMAN DIOCESE: 27 January, 2026
The German Diocese is preparing an international scholarly conference dedicated to its 100th anniversary

The German Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia invites participation in the international scholarly conference "Heritage and Vocation," which will take place on May 6-8, 2026, in Munich and is timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the German Diocese.
The conference will bring together leading historians and theologians specializing in the history of the Russian Church, aiming for a comprehensive reflection on the historical journey of the German Diocese.

Venue: Blutenburg Castle, in close proximity to the Monastery of St Job of Pochaev in Munich.
The conference will feature over 20 presentations. The working languages of the conference are Russian and German; simultaneous interpretation into these languages will be provided for the entire event.

All conference sessions will be broadcast live on the YouTube platform, including translation. This will allow one to follow the conference from anywhere in the world. The link to the live broadcast will be sent exclusively to registered participants through the official registration form.

Please note that registration is mandatory — both for in-person attendance and for access to the online broadcast.

The number of in-person attendance spots is limited; early registration is recommended.
Participant registration is carried out through the official diocesan website: https://rocor.de/ru/konferenz
