Patriarchal congratulations to Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America on his 30th anniversary as bishop

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia congratulated His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill of San Francisco and Western America of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia on the 30th anniversary of his episcopal consecration:

To His Eminence Archbishop Kyrill
of San Francisco and Western America

Your Eminence:

I send heartfelt greetings on this important day, the 30th anniversary of your episcopal consecration.

Your entire life has been devoted to serving the Great and Wondrous God, Who guides and elevates those who love Him to the Heavens (canon of the second tone).

Having received a theological education, you donned the angelic image and received the grace of the presbytery, and with zeal you embarked on the pastoral service and fulfillment of various important duties.

Three decades ago, the Almighty placed you upon the highest lantern, that of archpastoral service. Now you rule the Diocese of San Francisco and Western America, and, tending to what was entrusted to you, you strive with the help of the Holy Spirit to attract people to the Divine haven of salvation (sedalen of the first tone).

In recognition of your labors and in connection with this dateб I grant you the Order of St Seraphim of Sarov, 2nd Degree.

I prayerfully wish you strength, spiritual peace and the abundant help of Christ the Savior in your continuing archpastoral work.

With love in the Lord,

+KIRILL,
PATRIARCH OF MOSCOW AND ALL RUSSIA
