Schedule of the Visitation of the Relics of Holy Martyrs Elizaveta and Varvara to the Ekaterinburg Diocese

October 1

4:00 pm—the relics arrive at the Ekaterinburg train station, welcomed by the Ruling Bishop and a host of clergymen. A brief moleben is held at the station.

4:00-5:00 pm—A procession of the cross to the Church-on-the-Blood, where the relics are presented for veneration.

October 2-4

Around-the-clock reading of molebens and akathists over the relics at the Church-on-the-Blood by the clergymen of the Central Ecclesiastical District.

October 4

12:00—The relics depart via automobile to Alapaevsk, escorted by the Dean of the Eastern Ecclesiastical District, Protopriest Igor Balabanov.

2:00-3:00—Arrival of the holy relics in Alapaevsk, to the New Martyrs of Russian Men's Monastery.

October 4-6

The holy relics are in Alapaevsk, where molebens and akathists are read around the clock by clergymen of the Eastern Ecclesiastical District.

October 6

12:30—The relics depart via automobile to Nizhny Tagil, escorted by the Dean of the Gorno-Zavodsky Ecclesiastical District, Protopriest Gennady Vedernikov.

3:00—The arrival of the holy relics to the Monastery of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" in Nizhny Tagil.

October 6-8

The holy relics are at the Monastery of the Mother of God "Joy of All Who Sorrow" in Nizhny Tagil, where clergymen read akathists and molebens around the clock.

October 8

12:30—The relics depart for Verkhotursk, escorted by the Dean of the Northern Ecclesiastical District, Protopriest Sergei Kozlov and the Prior of St Nicholas Men's Monastery, Hegumen Philipp (El'shin).

3:00—The holy relics arrive in Verkhotursk.

October 9

12:00—After liturgy at the Monastery in Verkhotursk, the holy relics depart by car to Ekaterinburg.

5:00—The holy relics of Holy Grand Duchess Elizaveta Feodorovna and Nun Varvara are greeted at Holy Trinity Cathedral. All-night vigil is served.

October 10

7:00 am—Divine liturgy is served at Holy Trinity Cathedral.

10:00 - 11:20—A procession of the cross with the holy relics is conducted from Holy Trinity Cathedral to the train station.

11:45—The holy relics depart on Train No. 67 from Ekaterinburg to Perm.
