His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus Conducts Divine Liturdy at Protection Memorial Church

On October 10, His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus performed divine liturgy, attended by an enormous gathering of people, before the feast day of Holy Virgin Protection Memorial Church of the 1000th Anniversary of the Baptism of Russia. During the minor entrance, His Eminence Vladyka awarded the mitre to the Parish Rector, Protopriest George Skrinnikov on the occasion of his 40th anniversary of pastoral service to the Holy Church. At the present time, Protection Memorial Church is on the path of overcoming difficult times relating to lawsuits and is growing, thanks to the efforts of the Rector, the Deputy Warden M.A. Mikhailovsky and many others joining the parish work.
