Parishes and Communities of the Russian Church Abroad to Conduct Plate Collections for the Victims of Beslan

With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus, the Synodal Chancery issued a circular ukase to all the Diocesan Bishops on the call to prayer "for the innocent Orthodox Christians killed by Agarians" and for those injured and the relatives of the victims of the terrorist act in Beslan. This ukase also gives the blessing to conduct plate collections in the near future in all the parishes and communities of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia to benefit the victims. Collected funds should be sent to their Diocesan Administrations, and from there to the Synod of Bishops.
