A New Film on the Russian Orthodox Presence in Switzerland

In the summer of 2012, a TV team from Russia recorded the story of Russian Orthodoxy in Switzerland. Some of the filming took place at the churches of the Western European Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, in Geneva, Vevey and Lausanne. Clergymen and laity participated.

The film premiered in September, 2012, on TV-Tsentr in Russia as part of the �Orthodox Encyclopedia� series. Almost two years later, in June 2014, it was included in its entirety as part of the �Cross Over Europe� program on the Soyuz television channel. This Russian-language film can be viewed here:
