WESTERN EUROPE: January 4, 2022
The 3rd All-European Orthodox Liturgical Conference will be held at the end of January

We are happy to announce that despite the uncertainty in the world caused by the pandemic the Committee is planning to hold the third Pan-European Orthodox Liturgical Music online Conference from 27 to 29 January 2022. We invite you to take part in this event!

The conference will feature lectures by renowned international specialists in the field of choral singing and church-musicianship, workshops and group discussions.

The focus this time will be on the theme of the beauty of church services, in which singing, reading and liturgical exclamations play a huge role. The problems of the balance between music and words, the style of performing church chants and reading liturgical texts, instilling a sense of church style and liturgical culture among the choir directors, singers and readers will be raised.

The conference welcomes church choir conductors, singers, readers, and all others interested in Russian Orthodox choral music.
