The Union of the Descendants of the Russians of Gallipoli make a plea for prayerfull marking the 100th anniversary of the Great Russian Exodus

Lieutenant General Baron Wrangel established the Society of Russians of Gallipoli on 22 November 1921, exactly one year after the arrival of the first divisions of the Russian Army in Gallipoli, Turkey.

In memory of this event, the administration of the Union of the Descendants of the Russian of Gallipoli decided that every year, on the nearest Saturday to 22 November, to perform pannikhidas wherever the descendants of the White warriors of Gallipoli live.

On the 100th anniversary of the Great Russian Exodus, 21 November, 2020, the Union calls upon everyone to join in common prayer for the heroes of the White Movement in their churches and wherever Russian refugees are buried.
