Lev Pavlinets, long-time volunteer at Holy Trinity Monastery, reposes in the Lord

Early Tuesday morning, May 21, 2019, Lev Ivanovich Pavlinetz, long-time volunteer [trudnik] at Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY, died. He was a personal friend of many ascetics of the Russian diaspora for many years.

On Wednesday, May 22, Mid-Pentecost and the feast of the Translation of the Relics of St Nicholas the Wonder-worker, which is also the anniversary of the death of Metropolitan Anastassy (Gribanovsky), who is buried under Holy Trinity Cathedral in Jordanville, hierarchal Divine Liturgy will be celebrated. His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York will officiate. After the monastic luncheon, the funeral of the late Lev Ivanovich will commence.
