A representative of Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville participates in the 2nd International Scholarly Conference “Practical Questions of Theology and Church History”

On Tuesday, October 9, 2018, the feast day of Apostle and Evangelist John the Theologian, the heavenly patron of Kharkov Theological Seminary, Protodeacon Victor Lochmatov of Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY, and a teacher at its seminary, participated in ceremonious divine services and the 2nd International Scholarly Conference “Practical Questions of Theology and Church History.” Greetings from His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion of Eastern America and New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, and Archimandrite Luke (Murianka), Abbot of the monastery and the seminary rector, were read at the opening.

Fr Victor read a lecture at the plenary session titled “Clergymen of Kharkov in the Russian Church Abroad.”
