YAROSLAVL, RUSSIA: June 21, 2018
Pilgrims from the USA, Canada and Australia visit the holy sites of the Yaroslavl region

On June 18, 2018, a group of American, Canadian and Australian pilgrims led by His Eminence Archbishop Gabriel of Montreal and Canada visited Kazan Convent in Yaroslavl, Russia. The delegation was accompanied by Protopriest Vladimir Mozyakov, Director of the Pilgrims’ Center of Yaroslavl Diocese.

The pilgrims went on an excursion of the grounds of the monastery, learning of its history and specially-venerated icons, after which they were invited to the refectory for a meal. Archbishop Gabriel expressed his heartfelt thanks to Abbess Ekaterina for their warm hospitality.

The pilgrims then joyfully venerated holy icons and relics of the rest of the Yaroslavl region, visiting Uspensky Cathedral and St Elias the Prophet Church in Yaroslavl, Vvedensky Monastery in Tolgsk and Voskresensky Cathedral in the city of Tutaev.
