The Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God is Brought to Protection Cathedral in Samara, Russia

On Monday, September 17, 2012, the Orthodox faithful of the city of Samara, Russia, headed by His Eminence Metropolitan Sergius of Samara and Syzransk, ceremoniously greeted the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God “of the Sign,” brought to the region a delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia.
