Chicago's Holy Protection Cathedral Marks the 75th Anniversary of the Repose of Metropolitan Anthony (Khrapovitsky) of Blessed Memory

On Wednesday, August 10, 2011, the feast day of the Smolensk Icon of the Mother of God, and also the 75th anniversary of the repose of Metropolitan Anthony (Khrapovitsky) of blessed memory, His Grace Bishop Peter of Cleveland, Administrator of the Diocese of Chicago and Mid-America, headed a solemn pannikhida along with His Grace Bishop Longin of Novo-Gracanica of the Serbian Orthodox Church, as well as the clergy of Holy Protection Cathedral and other visiting clergymen. 

At the end of the serivce, the hierarchs addressed the gathered worshipers with sermons on the memory of great archpastor and the brotherly bonds between the Serbian Church and Russian Orthodox Church Abroad.
