The Kursk-Root Icon Will Visit Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville

On Sunday, August 21, 2011, the Kursk-Root Icon of the Mother of God will be brought by the minor compline service at 7:30 pm to Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY, by its official keeper, Deacon Nicholas Olhovsky, recently appointed to this duty by the Synod of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia. With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, First Hierarch of the Church Abroad, the miracle-working icon will remain at the monastery until September 10, the feast day of St Job of Pochaev, Abbot and Miracle-worker of Pochaev.
