BOSTON: January 27, 2011
Nativity of Christ and Epiphany Services and Celebrations in the Parishes of the Russian Church Abroad in the Boston Area

On January 19, 2011, Epiphany Parish in Boston marked their feast day, drawing, as always, an enormous number of worshipers. The following Saturday and Sunday, January 22-23, His Grace Bishop Jerome of Manhattan, Vicar of the Eastern American Diocese, officiated at divine services here. During Divine Liturgy celebrated by His Grace, Priest Victor Boldewskul, successor to the parish rectorship from the late Protopriest Roman Lukianov, was elevated to the rank of protopriest. Photographs of this event follow.

On Sunday, January 16, in the Parish of St John (Maximovich), the great archpastor of the Russian Diaspora, the annual children’s Yolka (Christmas pageant) was held by the parish. Photographs of this event follow as well.
