BELGRADE: January 25, 2010
Bishop Peter of Cleveland Participates In the Enthronement of His Holiness Patriarch Irinej of Serbia

On January 23, 2010, after Divine Liturgy at Holy Archangel Cathedral in Belgrade, Serbia, the enthronement rite of the newly-elected Irinej, Archbishop of Pec, Metropolitan of Belgrade and Sremsky Karlovtsi and Patriarch of Serbia . His Eminence Metropolitan Amphilohije of Montenegro and the Littoral gave His Holiness the symbols of the Patriarchal rank—a panagihia depicting Serbian Hierarchs, the staff and white Patriarchal klobuk—on behalf of the Holy Council of Bishops. 

His Grace Bishop Peter of Cleveland, Administrator of the Diocese of Chicago and Mid-America, represented the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia at the celebrations.
