A New Book is Published On the Byzantine Hierarchal Liturgy

A new volume has just been published by Sister Vassa Larin, "The Byzantine Hierarchal Divine Liturgy in Arsenij Suxanov's Proskinitarij." The volume comprises volume 286 of the prestigious academic series, Orientalia Christiana Analecta, and represents the first modern-day scholarly monograph on on important aspect of Orthodox liturgical history: the celebration of a bishop. At the same time, it is easy to read and accessible to the non-academic church-goer seeking to deepen his or her knowledge of the Church's liturgical tradition.
