The First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad Appoints a New Rector to Archangel Michael Church
By ukase of His Eminence Metropolitan Hilarion, Priest Maxim Massalitin has been appointed Rector of Archangel Michael Church in Cannes, France. On Saturday, November 14, 2009, Fr Maxim performed his first divine service at the church.
Fr Maxim was born on August 22, 1975 in Kiev. In 2006, he graduated from Sretensky Theological Seminary in Moscow. Fr Maxim is married and has a daughter.
