Protopriest Gabriel Kin Dies 

On the night of June 17-18, 2008, after a long, difficult sickness, retired Protopriest Gabriel Kin of Holy Trinity Monastery departed to the Lord. Fr Gabriel was ordained to the priesthood by Archbishop Averky (Taushev, +1976) in 1969. He ministered to the parishes of the Diocese of San Francisco and Western America for many years: in Oxnard, Burlingame, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Calistoga. In his latter years he taught at Holy Trinity Seminary. The funeral and burial of Fr Gabriel were held at Holy Trinity Monastery.
