The 70 th anniversary of the death of Blessed Metropolitan Anthony (Khrapovitsky), First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia during her first 15 years, was marked by a pannikhida performed in his crypt in Iveron Chapel in Novy Cemetery in the Serbian capital.

The pannikhida was led by the visiting Bishop Peter (Loukianoff), Administrator of the Diocese of Chicago and Detroit. Also participating in the service was Bishop Lukian (Pantelic) of Budim, of the Serbian Orthodox Church, who resides in Sent Andrej, Hungary, and Archimandrite Dosifej of the Grgetek Monastery of the Sremsky Diocese of the Serbian Church.

Praying at the service was also the rector of the podvorie (representation) of the Russian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate in Belgrade, Priest Vitaly Tarasiev, who conducts annual memorial services for Metropolitan Anthony in Iveron Chapel, which is attached to the Russian representation. Alongside Blessed Metropolitan Anthony are the remains of his cell-attendant, Archimandrite Theodosius. The chapel is adorned with images painted by Archbishop Anthony (Bartoshevich) of Geneva and Western Europe (+1993).
