GERMANY: Pilgrimage to Italy--12 August 2002
Pilgrimage to Italy, 29 September-4 October 2002
A pilgrimage is being organized to Milan, Rome and Geneva under the supervision of His Grace Bishop Agapit of Stuttgart. Departure from Stuttgart is on 16/29 September at 15:00 on the feast day of St. Eufemia the Martyr. The night will be spent at a hotel on Lake Como.
Monday, 17/30 September: the pilgrimage, in Milan, will venerate the relics of St. Ambrose of Milan in the church bearing his name, as well as the relics of St. Natalie the Martyr in the Church of St. Laurentius the Martyr. Tuesday and Wednesday: the pilgrims will go to holy sites in Rome (catacombs, churches, etc.). Accommodations will be in a hotel on the banks of the sea at Ostia.
Thursday: the pilgrims will depart Rome for Geneva.
Friday: divine liturgy will be held on the feast day of the Cathedral of the Elevation of the Cross in the Geneva. The pilgrims return to Stuttgart that evening.
