The Presidential Representative of the Central Russian District of Russia Received the Clergy of the Russian Church Abroad

Last week, Georgii Sergeevich Poltavchenko, Presidential Representative of the Central District of Russia received Priest Serafim Gan and Subdeacon Eugene Kallaur in his office in Moscow. Priest Serafim expressed the gratitude of His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus and his delegation to Georgii Sergeevich for the warm reception given at the Moscow Kremlin, and asked to relay the gratitude of the First Hierarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia to the President of Russia for setting aside time to greet His Eminence and His Eminence Archbishop Mark at his personal residence in Novo-Ogarevo. Georgii Sergeevich then told of his travels in Russia and to Mt. Athos and about the help that the government gives the Russian Orthodox Church in its service to God and the Russian people.
